Yummy Food!

Okay, I think we all get the hint by now… I perfected the ‘art of doing nothing’ during our holiday to Tenerife! So, let’s get on to the good stuff – what I ate on the last few days for dinner!

Billy and I went on a date for the third night’s dinner! Bailey and Lauren went to Guest Relations and borrowed the movie ‘Tangled.’ Yes, this is Lauren’s favourite and she sings along to all of the songs – so cute! We ate at their sushi restaurant called Kabuki. Oh, the sushi was SO lovely!

When we sat down, they brought out a salmon starter.

For my meal, I had tuna sashimi along with a tuna sushi piece that had a dollop of Dijon mustard on the top along with a mini Kobe sushi piece burger. So incredible!

The next day, Lauren and I met Billy at the golf club after his round. The view was incredible and I had my camera!

For dinner on the last night, we ate at El Mirador and had an incredible table! I will let the pictures do the explaining! Dinner was tuna tartare, salt encrusted sea bass (must learn to make this) and a three-chocolate dessert! πŸ™‚ All of the kids enjoyed having Bailey to play with! It was so fun to watch all of the kids run after her… And watch her act like a kid! πŸ™‚ Several of the kids gave her a huge hug when she told them bye – they enjoyed having her attention!

And then, all good things come to an end… At least we had a beautiful sunset to end the holiday! Ahhh…. I need to frame these sunsets! πŸ™‚

Just really wonderful pictures, Karen. You also were eating pretty good, weren’t you? πŸ™‚
The picture of kids playing, was that at Tenerife also? It looked like maybe a birthday party or the like. They all seemed to be having fun. I would hate to have to follow any one of them around all day. They seemed to be going faster than I am able.

Ah..such a nice trip you have had with such lovely views and wonderful food, plus your lovely family. You are blessed! I have never eaten raw fish, but I had sushi with crab meat and cream cheese. It was pretty good!
