A Recluse?… Not by choice and a busy Saturday!

Well, life at our flat is about to become a little more interesting!

You see little Lauren needs to get ready for school. We have one picked out, but she must be 2.5 years old and completely potty trained! Oh my!! She is scheduled to start in Jan, which is right when she turns 2.5 years old.

Here’s the thing, she isn’t potty trained. All of the books say that you should be homebound for ~2 weeks for ultimate success (hence the recluse comment). So, if you’d like to come join us for Thai or Curry – you know where we will be for the next 2 weeks! Any tips, send them our way… We’ve got the gear ready to go.

On to a fun-filled Saturday!

My dear Lauren alarm clock that can’t be snoozed decided to wake up at 7:06 this morning. So, she and I got up and played – mainly Abbie Cadabie with me being Jennifer Garner asking for galoshes. Lauren got so excited, she found her galoshes!

Around 9:30, we left the flat. Lauren loaded up her pram – I think she really watches us a lot. We always put things on the handles of her pram, and so did she!

We headed out, but first stopped to see all of the paparazzi in front of Sir Paul’s house which is a block away. Everyone is wondering – will this be the weekend of his 3rd marriage. I’ll keep you posted, but so far no loud music. There were lots of satellite vans and paparazzi out front.

Due to engineering works, we were too late for Lauren’s haircut appointment – maybe next week. So, we stopped at McDonalds and had some French Fries! Then, off to The Gap for her a new winter jacket… Yep, it’s that time again! We then went to Tory Burch on Bond Street and I was so excited as they accepted my $150 gift card (£96 was the conversion) and my 25% off coupon!! With all of that money… err, saved… we then had to stop off at Pinkberry to celebrate!

Lauren and I then came back home for some quality tv entertainment… Yep, Toddlers and Tiaras. Lauren gets so fascinated with the show and usually imitates the kids by prancing around the flat, posing, turning like a model and blowing kisses at the judges – today was no different, except I wasn’t fast enough with my camera. Although, today she decided to be the emcee and her block was the microphone… Oh my! It is really cute to watch her, but I promise she won’t ever be on the show!

I hope you all are having a fabulous Saturday as well!!
